Great acting from everyone
Best New Series, Jack Ryan After the disappointing season 4 and the lackluster performances around it, this was better in every way. It really looks good and the action/fight scenes are great. It seems to me that a lot of the criticism of this series in the comments section is due to how realistic it is because of the whole operator thing, and boy, is a good female-led action series that is original.
An IP that doesn’t make the male lead the main female role
And I haven’t seen any red flags or anything like that so far, like everyone is incompetent. And at first I thought it wasn’t a crappy action show, but then they went a little more into family and I’m generally afraid of that, but I didn’t like what they were doing there. My only criticism is that what this particular group of actors do is very limited to the story and it could have been killed by the season/evil plot.
let’s see if the great Morgan Freeman brings to the role
A fast-paced, action-packed Homeland, otherwise it risks becoming too episodic like The Blacklist PS: Nicole Kidman’s role so far is incredibly small and unremarkable and anyone else could have done it… but from what I’ve seen so far, the cast will be able to stand alone with Zaldan without any other A-Listers. TLDR Overall, cautiously optimistic, but I like what I’m seeing so far, everything is incredibly polished and well done.
